Hi! I am Jodi Sugar, Mom and a new grandmother.

My specialty is in composition, which I use to create artistic photos of your newborn, family and life cycle event. Active toddlers don’t always have to smile in front of the camera.  Sometimes I ask a parent to hold them upside down, which usually gets them giggling.  

 

I love to photograph newborns with natural light, usually near a window.  You can come to my home studio. While the best time to photograph a newborn is between 5-10 days, I understand how hard to can be to get out of the house.  If you prefer I can do a photoshoot at your house and I bring props like baskets, soft fake rabbit fur, and cashmere like swaddlers.

 

I’ve been photographing life cycle events, on location, for years.  I love the creativity of newborn photography.
